Learning Outcomes

- Design and execute independent research using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches, adhering to ethical standards
- Analyse the economic impact of events on destinations using established analytical frameworks, critically evaluating their limitations
- Develop original event concepts (Event IP) from ideation through market validation to investment-ready proof of concept
- Construct commercially viable revenue strategies integrating sponsorship, ticketing, hospitality, and data monetisation
- Evaluate AI and digital intelligence tools for event tourism applications, designing no-code automation workflows for professional operations
- Produce professional-quality events for real audiences of 500+, managing budget, stakeholders, risk, sustainability, and operational logistics
- Critically assess the sustainability and legacy implications of events, applying carbon accounting and ISO 20121 principles
